How to get to the Albergo Barbara:
In Vernazza there's only one main street.
When you arrive at Vernazza's train station, go down the stairs and follow the street downwards,

until you arrive to a big square by the harbour. There you turn right and pass under the arches

after 20 meters you will arrive at our front door, on your right side (#30), please ring our doorbell, even if the door is open or someone opens the door for you.
Note: all our rooms are on the top floor of the building, and that is also where our reception is located.
How to get to Vernazza:
By train:
The easiest and most comfortable way to reach
Vernazza is to travel by train. The station is located
in the centre of the town. For train schedules we
recommend to use the Italian railway's website:
www.trenitalia.it
By car:
Driving on the freeway from the north you exit at
"Levanto-Carrodano"; coming from south or from Parma
you leave the freeway at La Spezia and follow the
signs "Cinque Terre". The road to Vernazza is tiny and
with sharp bends. Since Vernazza is a traffic-free zone you will
have to park in a non-guarded car park, about 1km from
the town center. From there you can use a shuttle bus
to come to the village.
This shuttle bus runs almost
every 20 minutes. Between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
At the car park, there is a fee for
parking between the hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
(20:00), everyday from March to November.
By plane:
The two closest airports to Vernazza are:
"Cristoforo Colombo" Airport in Genoa
www.aeroportodigenova.com
From the airport, a bus runs to the two main train
stations; Genova P.Principe and Genova Brignole (it
doesn't matter which one you choose). The bus runs
every 30 minutes.
"Galileo Galilei" Airport in Pisa
www.pisa-airport.com
Inside the airport there's a train station which
connects the airport with the train station Pisa
Centrale every 30 minutes, but
there's also a bus (number 1) which runs every 20
minutes to Pisa Centrale.
